When the operating system

When the operating system is controlling the page file size, etc., in what
partition or partitions does the operating system put the page file?

Re: When the operating system

It places on the same drive as Windows itself, and unless you have a second
physical disk installed, that is the best place for it..

Re: When the operating system

As I have partitions, would the OS put the page file on the partition I
booted?

Re: When the operating system

The page file should be in the same partition as the operating system or in
a partition on a separate hard drive.. DO NOT put the page file into a
partition on the same drive as the OS..
