kill filter help

I have someone in my kill filter named Adam Albright. I cannot remember why
I put him there. Is he the loud mouth jerk who thinks he is God's gift to
the world or am I thinking of someone else? Is he gone from this group?
Thanks for reply, except of course Albright , who I cannot see anyway.

He's not gone, and you want to add Alias and Frank too - it really makes
this group pleasant again.

Here is a partial snipped of my rule:

Subject contains "Linux"
Or
Subject contains "Ubuntu"
Or
Body contains "Ubuntu"
Or
Body contains "Linux"
Or
Body contains "Adam Albright wrote"
Or
From contains "Adam Albright"
Or
From contains "amalias******shoes.com"
Or
From contains "fb@spamm.nrz"
Or
From contains "AA@ABC.net"

Thank you, I have taken your advice and you are quite correct, the group is
now much more pleasant. Perhaps these jerks will get the message, but I
doubt it.

I had to suspend the filter to follow this thread.

I'm using Super Gravity - a text based reader that is now Open Source
and runs perfectly on Windows platforms. Was first called Anawave
Gravity by Microplanet - they stopped working on it and released it to
the OS community.

Unfortunately, Windows Mail won't filter on words in the body of a

That's why you always want to use a proper Usenet client for Usenet
instead of a mail client.

While Outlook Express, Windows Mail, etc... work, they are email clients
first and based on email methods and ideals - they are not Usenet
clients based on Usenet first. In many instances a email client will not
properly format Usenet posts or some don't snip signatures, even worse,
some top post instead of bottom posting....

As for not replying - it won't happen, people want to be right and
trolls know how to feed off that nature.

Re: kill filter help

I know... I use Agent 4.2 for my "real" newsgroups.

But since I am trying to help folks with WM/WLM, I'm using WLM to read these
Microsoft newsgroups.
And I prefer top posting in these groups, as I read thousands a day, and
don't wish to scroll down.

No need to scroll down. Select the message in the preview pane and then
hit the End key.

The biggest trolls are the assholes saying others are trolls. The
idiot Frank for example.

You ill behaved CHILDREN, and that's all 90% of the moronic posters
here are, don't deserve any serious help from those of us that really
could help. Translation: you clowns made your bed, now sleep in it.
This cesspool is what it is because of the collective ignorance and
stupidity of the majority of posters that infest it. You reap what you
sow. Live with it.

I've monitored/participated in 30+ groups for more than 20 years and
have always found that properly snipping limits the need to scroll and
still keeps the message in proper reading order.

Thank you for kill filing me, Leythos. Now I don't have to put up with
your stupid replies. My posts, however, are not directed at people like
Leythos but NEW posters who are frustrated with the Vista Virus/Trojan
and are seeking a viable alternative.

Now, if only Frank would kill file me, my day would be made!
