For anyone else looking for information on this... I have been unable to
find an official way to do this.
however I am able to edit an expiry rule for the folder this newsgroups posts
reside in so that (in addition to a 2 day expiry on everything) posts expire
when sent by certain individuals.

The only thing I am unsure of is how often this filter might run.

Wrong, I've got Ub 7.1 installed on 8 machines, all of them from P3/1ghz
to a Quad Core, and everyone of them had problems with it, not to
mention that not one of the printers is supported under Ub and they are
all supported on Win.

compromised, nor have any of my clients. They are productive, work
quickly, interact with the world, etc.... Can't say that about Ub.

devices on Ub as people already have for Win.

Yea, I can, I can say that it installed and updated in about the same
time as Windows XP takes currently, a lot longer for all the patches if
you look at Vista installations.

It doesn't properly detect video, selecting the wrong Horizontal
Frequency on 4 systems - causing me to have to change monitors to fix
it.

It doesn't have printer support for the printers that I've had for
testing that all work fine under Windows.

Oh, and sitting there doing nothing it used 138MB or RAM, about the same
as XP without added apps.

I didn't once say that I could not install it, just that it's not as
simple and quick as you preach. It's working fine, except for the
hardware that's not supported. It makes an excellent low end Browsing,
Email, simple editor machine for people that are too stupid to keep from
being compromised.

You have limited experience with it, and you deny that anyone could
experience other than your experience, that's what makes you an idiot -
