visual volume and brightness display

When i change the volume with fn page up and down or brightness with fn up
and down arrows, i used to see a little display that showed a bar increasing
and decreasing as volume and brightness changed. This no longer appears. How
can this be enabled or disabled so that it will function again?

Re: visual volume and brightness display

Is this an upgrade or clean install of Vista? Its possible that this is a
OEM specific feature that was bungled with a previous version of Windows you
might have had installed.

Re: visual volume and brightness display

And this is something you were using most recently in the OS? You probably
need to contact Dell Support about this.

Re: visual volume and brightness display

that on screen display bar, is a feature that comes as an addon with the
computer. Ask dell...or whoever you got the computer from.

It is not part of vista
