| Re: Dual Monitors Try disabling a task called TMM - Transient Multi-monitor Manager and see if helps. Do the following: 1. Launch task scheduler - select "Start" | "All Programs" | "Accessories" | "System Tools" | "Task Scheduler" menu item. 2. Locate and select a task with name "TMM" under "Task Scheduler Library" | "Microsoft" | "Windows". 3. Click "Disable" from the list of actions listed at the right pane. - Chirag PowerShow - View multiple PowerPoint slide shows simultaneously http://officeone.mvps.org/powershow/powershow.html "Mark" <vbrenegade@sbcglobal.net> wrote in message news:O2OFf00HIHA.2100@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Hello, > Anyone know why windows will not keep the extended desktop setting. I would suggest you use the configuration interface provided by the graphics chipset mfg instead of the configuration interface in windows as my experience is that the windows one is notoriously flaky. -- Priceless quotes in m.p.w.vista.general group: http://protectfreedom.tripod.com/kick.html "Fair use is not merely a nice concept--it is a federal law based on free speech rights under the First Amendment and is a cornerstone of the creativity and innovation that is a hallmark of this country.
