| Text Display Issue in Vista Home Premium I had to do a system recovery which set everything back to orginal factory settings. Text letters on on web pages as well as notepad and email now have some letters bolder than others and some letters blue or red instead of uniformly black. I have spent hours with HP support with no resolution. I am pc illiterate. Anyone able to walk me thru fixing this issue? Thanks |

| Re: Text Display Issue in Vista Home Premium Hi, I would check in the Control Panel under Internet Options on the General tab. Towards the bottom click on Fonts, the defaults are Times New Roman for Webpages, and Courier New for Plain Text. The Accessibility button should not have anything checked to override fonts, colors, or stylesheets. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "cb" <blink1x******.com> wrote in message news:dD9Xi.81$sm1.8@nlpi068.nbdc.sbc.com... >I had to do a system recovery which set everything back to orginal factory >settings. | Re: Text Display Issue in Vista Home Premium Hi, I would try switching it to something else, applying the settings, then changing it back. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "cb" <blink1x******.com> wrote in message news:6lqXi.531$852.418@newssvr17.news.prodigy.net... > Thanks for your reply Rick. Next, I would click on Tools, then Options, then Advanced. If there is a check mark before Mark message threads I start as 'Watched', click on the check mark and then on Apply. Click on OK. |
