Show your own posts

I have a sugestion for this community forum.
Why not add a function for viewing your own posts so that they are easy to
go back to and update? As of now I can not find any function that allows me
to do this, and it annoys me to have to search for my own posts all the time.

This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the

link to open the suggestion in the Microsoft Web-based Newsreader and then
click "I Agree" in the message pane.

RE: Show your own posts

This is not a Forum, it is a Newsgroup.

Leave things the way they are.

I'm reading these posts via a traditional NNTP client which includes
features such as this one that you have requested.

However, your suggestion is a good one as one of the top complaints from
folks who use the web interface to these groups is that they can't find
their post again when they return.

So a way to show all posts by you should be a relatively simple thing to
add and would eliminate alot of those types of issues.

It should be even simpler to show the users of that interface that switching
to a real newsgroup reader will provide a wealth of features including
finding their own posts.

I'm surprised you didn't call him a "cockhead" - Just FYI.

Isn't that your favorite word?

Something that has been pointed out repeatedly but to no avail so far.
There are instructions on the MS site on how to access these forums via
NNTP, and in fact they are automatically configured with the latest
Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail clients, but so far that has done
little to keep folks from using the much less robust web interface.
