| Downloadable Vista SP1 -- or is it? Is this legitimate? It's certainly not MS, but what about the content, which is dated April? http://www.vistasp1.net/ |

The links point to true Microsoft pages that discuss real problems and offer solutions. |

| Re: Downloadable Vista SP1 -- or is it? That is not SP1. It is SP1 preview pack - dated April 2006. It has little/nothing to do with SP1 which is in beta testing at this moment. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) "Ike" <binarydotike******.com> wrote in message news:fg3nnb$l0q$1@registered.motzarella.org... > Is this legitimate? | Re: Downloadable Vista SP1 -- or is it? That link you provided is not a legitimate distribution for the Windows Vista SP1 "BETA". Microsoft is always striving to improve the quality of their products. Windows Update is one of the great examples of this effort, since its implementation, Microsoft has continually improved the service to deliver improved experience for Windows, software and hardware devices. Windows Vista SP1 is currently in testing as of this writing. It is expected to be released sometime in the first quarter of 2008. (not the content, but the way it is presented." "striving" "effort" "experience" The update is great and I give a lot of thnks to those who did it. Thanks for the info, though, it's not your fault ;) > > To learn more about Windows Vista SP1, please check the following link: > > http:// > windowsvistablog.com/blogs/windowsvista/pages/windows-vista-service-pack-1-beta-whitepaper.aspx > -- > Andre > Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com > My Vista Quickstart Guide: > http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E8E5CC039D51E3DB!9709.entry > > "Ike" <binarydotike******.com> wrote in message > news:fg3nnb$l0q$1@registered.motzarella.org... >> Is this legitimate?
