File Open or File Save dialogs crash programs

Hi. I've searched for a few hours for an answer to this problem but cannot
find one. Anyways, whenever I try to save or open a file via the file open or
save dialogs no matter what program I am using (Firefox, Internet Explorer,
Microsoft Word/Excel, Microsoft Works all tested) the program will no longer
respond. I don't know why this happens, please help :)

Thank you very much!

Folks,

Looks at your shell extensions. I got some advice on another forum and
found that my Replay TV file save program was causing all my problems.
Your issue is likely some kind of shell extension. Check out this post
on another forum:

Good luck!

"Folks" both left the room a year ago, and no one else has a clue what
you are replying to.
