| Keyboard Stopped Working Under WinVista?! I have a Dell XPS, running Winvista Ultimate. The keyboard is a multimedia type keyboard i got with the computer. In Device Manager I have three devices with an exclamation mark next to them. Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard Microsoft eHome MCIR Keyboard Microsoft eHome Remote Control Keyboard Keys If I uninstall and Vista reinstalls them, the exclamation marks remain. Under 'properties' it say: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" Same for all three. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. |

| Re: Keyboard Stopped Working Under WinVista?! The obvious question is have you tried a different keyboard on the computer or have you tried the faulty keyboard on a different computer. The second most obvious question would be to ask if the manufacturer of the keyboard has any drivers that you can download or provided any of them on a cd with your computer. | Re: Keyboard Stopped Working Under WinVista?! Did you recently perform a Dell System Restore? If so you may have to reinstall the drivers separate. -- Regards, Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User (For email, remove the obvious from my address) "double zee" <zzinkmetairie@nospammingplzbellsouth.net> wrote in message news:U7OdnTjVdeyyvoDanZ2dnUVZ_rmjnZ2d@giganews.com...[color=blue] >I have a Dell XPS, running Winvista Ultimate.
