Sound Recorder (downgraded) in Vista

The Vista Sound Recorder is a downgrade from the XP one. You can only record
sound, cant edit .wav files.
You can't take parts of the sound file out or speed up or slow down the
audio. It only records.

WHERE HAS THE .WAV EDITOR FEATURE GONE IN VISTA?

RE: Sound Recorder (downgraded) in Vista

Greetings,

I'd recommend using Audacity for editing audio files. Works great with
Windows Vista as well, plus it's free. You can download it at
http://audacity.sourceforge.net. It comes with several (and I do mean
several) plugins and options, I use it frequently for recording and editing
audio, very stable software.

Have a great daym

So what is the problem? This isnt Vista related but Audacity related. Plus
there are many more sound application out there other than Audacity that
could have gotten this done.

Re: Sound Recorder (downgraded) in Vista

Not to mention that Audacity would do it just fine,
but this person seems not to want to take the time
to learn how.
