| Network notification Well, I moved recently to go to school, and, as a result had to start all over as far as a networking goes. So, I downloaded and installed the "802.x wireless configuration" package from UT's website, followed the instructions, and now am happy with, and connected to, the internet. However, nearly every two seconds, a bubble pops up that says "additional information is requred to connect to restricted.utexas.edu, click to provide information and connect." BUT I'M ALREADY CONNECTED. Haha it's totally annoying. For the life of me I can't find any information regarding network notifications, and have tried everything even remotely related to this issue, and nothing works. So I'd appreciate it if anyone could help or suggest in any way, I'm running Vista Home Premium I do believe. |

| Re: Network notification Have you contacted the UC folks about your connection issues? Also try posting this in the Vista Network ngs, might get better help there: microsoft.public.windows.vista.networking_sharing -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E8E5CC039D51E3DB!9709.entry "Caitlin" <Caitlin@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C75C1D5A-20E6-44C0-8ADA-7168DC4A9967@microsoft.com... > Well, I moved recently to go to school, and, as a result had to start all > over as far as a networking goes. | Re: Network notification Have you gone through the manual install? It seems Windows is still looking for your EAP credentials. --- Jeffrey Randow jeffreycentex******.com Windows Networking MVP 2001-2006 http://www.networkblog.net On Fri, 12 Oct 2007 03:13:01 -0700, Caitlin <Caitlin@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >Well, I moved recently to go to school, and, as a result had to start all >over as far as a networking goes.
