They all seem to be stupid and all post the same incorrect things again and

I wonder who built them and for what reason

While they claim not, I'm starting to suspect that MVPs get more than
the software Microsoft gives them for their "services'. Why else would
supposedly 'smart' users, which we're told is the reason Microsoft
picked them to be MVPs in the first place be so constantly uninformed
or flat out wrong in so many of their posts and also always be
unabashed Microsoft supporters and apologists? It doesn't add up.

The Windows Embedded family of products consisting of Windows Embedded CE,
Windows XP Embedded and Windows Embedded for Point of Service do not require
any product activation.

Re: Careful who you bank with...

I do know some very good people, that were erased from the MVP list
because in my opinion they were too unconventional and versatile...

Microsoft wants people who may be somewhat good at what they do...

but if they have open minds, and are too smart.. they get the boot.

I can imagine that if an MVP does not like Vista for example and posts his
real opinion
on a blog.. and say it as it is, he will not be an MVP very long...

I never agreed with people who said MS is evil....

Im trying to not accept that... but its getting harder...

I think Googles motto is better "dont be evil" :-)

ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!

I used to install Windows NT 4.0 on NCR cash machines that were being
assembled in Watford, UK, in the year 1999.

I have personally installed Windows NT 4.0 Workstation on NCR cash machines,
assembled in Watford UK, in 1999.

Cash machines can use any version of Windows.

But, but, but Carey is a MVP! Everyone knows MVPs can leap tall
buildings in a single bound! Bend steel in their bare hands! Change
the course of mighty rivers, fly for Pete's sake!

Wasn't there an old tv show in the 50's where some MVP wore blue
tights and a cape and had a yellow and red MVP symbol on his chest?

You mean MVPs are sometimes wrong?

Oh my God, that crushed my world. Next thing you'll tell us is the
Easter Bunny and Santa Clause isn't real. <snicker>

The truth is MVP's get things wrong pretty often.

I should have added that ATMs have standard motherboards within them. The
ones that I was installing Windows NT 4.0 Workstation on in 1999 were
actually based on pretty old technology - original type Pentiums.
