Re: vista is defective Vista works great for many on their computers. I have no trouble with Windows Vista on two older computers. "problems you all are haveing with vista" Obviously FALSE since many are not having problems. "give up" why? I have no problems to give up on. "go back to a computer with win xp" I have that as well and no problems. Many of the complaints today about Windows Vista are similar to 6 years ago when Windows XP was released. And similar to each previous operating system before that. "defective..worthless..pull your hair out product.like vista" If that is what Windows Vista is to you by all means stay with what you have. If that is Windows Vista on your computer, there is more to the problems than just Windows Vista. No one said you needed to upgrade. And you shouldn't unless there is something in the new product you need. Same as any product from any manufacturer, do not buy simply because there is something, rarely has that been a good idea. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "wheelman" <wheelman@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:21CBBDEA-5A3A-411B-8776-8DF987F4F8EB@microsoft.com... > after a week comeing to this site,,seeing all of the post..about all > the > problems you all are haveing with vista.driveing your selves > crazy... > > vista is defective..you guys are trying to do a lot of different > things.with > your computers.. > > within a os thats defective..give up...vista fights you on > everything you > try to do and install..its screws up..when you try and do too many > things.. > > go back to a computer with win xp and use it..use your computer > .instead of > trying to fix it..everything single day..keep the vista computer, for > light > things..like web and email.. > > im going to use my other computer for everything else,im not > fighting this > crap..uncle bill needs to recall all of these os,s and go back to > the drawing > board hire some people that know what they are doing for once.. > > if i was him..i would be ashamed to rip the people off.by selling > them a > defective..worthless..pull your hair out product.like vista..do you > see all > of these post about your defective product..maybe all of those > bilions have > clouded his mind..

Re: vista is defective Yes, I read the posts, most of them. No blinders necessary. "i feel for all of these people" If you assume others do not care, you will be bound by your false assumptions and the consequences thereof. It is you who has blinders if you actually believe: "vista fights you on everything you try to do" Clearly NOT "everything" for many. "problems you all are haveing" Obviously not all are having problems. Your exaggerations conflict with the facts. "you fix one problem.another one is going to pop up" Not always, another exaggeration from you. "pain and suffering" None necessary. Perhaps those that experience "pain and suffering" have other issues that go deeper than an uncooperative operating system. "money lost" If that describes you, that was entirely your choice. You bought what you bought and chose not to return it. Why did you not return Windows Vista or the computer if you felt that way? -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "wheelman" <wheelman@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7834C450-6B54-4DB3-8765-ED4B042DBE09@microsoft.com... > do you read all of these post on here..or are you trying to wear > blinders..for microsofts sake..i feel for all of these people on > here..they > are driveing them selves to tears,,trying to get something to > work, within > this defective os..they dont want to walk away, they have spent there > money..they are hopeing for miricles..they are not going to come.. > > you fix one problem.another one is going to pop up..uncle bill got > our > money..theres nothing we can do or he is going to do..he robbed the > people > out here..plain and simple..i guess he has no problem with > that..he,s > counting his billions.. > > and the people here, will keep posting there problems..after four > months,i > seen its limittations..it want do no more.with out..pain and > suffering..i got > it to a certain point,,and thats it,i will do everything else with > win xp on > the other computer..money lost lessons learned.. > > > > "Jupiter Jones [MVP]" wrote: > >> Vista works great for many on their computers. >> I have no trouble with Windows Vista on two older computers. >> >> "problems you all are haveing with vista" >> Obviously FALSE since many are not having problems. >> >> "give up" >> why? >> I have no problems to give up on. >> >> "go back to a computer with win xp" >> I have that as well and no problems. >> Many of the complaints today about Windows Vista are similar to 6 >> years ago when Windows XP was released. >> And similar to each previous operating system before that. >> >> "defective..worthless..pull your hair out product.like vista" >> If that is what Windows Vista is to you by all means stay with what >> you have. >> If that is Windows Vista on your computer, there is more to the >> problems than just Windows Vista. >> No one said you needed to upgrade. >> And you shouldn't unless there is something in the new product you >> need. >> Same as any product from any manufacturer, do not buy simply >> because >> there is something, rarely has that been a good idea. >> >> -- >> Jupiter Jones [MVP] >> http://www3.telus.net/dandemar >> http://www.dts-l.org >> >> >> "wheelman" <wheelman@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:21CBBDEA-5A3A-411B-8776-8DF987F4F8EB@microsoft.com... >> > after a week comeing to this site,,seeing all of the post..about >> > all >> > the >> > problems you all are haveing with vista.driveing your selves >> > crazy... >> > >> > vista is defective..you guys are trying to do a lot of different >> > things.with >> > your computers.. >> > >> > within a os thats defective..give up...vista fights you on >> > everything you >> > try to do and install..its screws up..when you try and do too >> > many >> > things.. >> > >> > go back to a computer with win xp and use it..use your computer >> > .instead of >> > trying to fix it..everything single day..keep the vista >> > computer, for >> > light >> > things..like web and email.. >> > >> > im going to use my other computer for everything else,im not >> > fighting this >> > crap..uncle bill needs to recall all of these os,s and go back to >> > the drawing >> > board hire some people that know what they are doing for once.. >> > >> > if i was him..i would be ashamed to rip the people off.by selling >> > them a >> > defective..worthless..pull your hair out product.like vista..do >> > you >> > see all >> > of these post about your defective product..maybe all of those >> > bilions have >> > clouded his mind.. >> >>

RE: vista is defective I started with my first computer in 1989, running Windows 3.1. I have used every Windows operating system since and I have never had as many problems as I have with Vista. I had to put XP back on this computer and I will not use Vista until they fix the problems. They are talking about another new operating system that is to come out in '09! They haven't even fixed Vista and they want to put out another system. All they want is our money! They put out a defective product and overcharge for it! I think I might buy an Apple computer!!! -- Chris "Mick Murphy" wrote: > I don't have any problems with Vista! > > I am here to help others, like yourself, who have no idea how to use a > computer(YOU), or have bought a Manufecturers OEM preinstalled computer with > all the manufacture's crap on it. > > "wheelman" wrote: > > > after a week comeing to this site,,seeing all of the post..about all the > > problems you all are haveing with vista.driveing your selves crazy... > > > > vista is defective..you guys are trying to do a lot of different things.with > > your computers.. > > > > within a os thats defective..give up...vista fights you on everything you > > try to do and install..its screws up..when you try and do too many things.. > > > > go back to a computer with win xp and use it..use your computer .instead of > > trying to fix it..everything single day..keep the vista computer, for light > > things..like web and email.. > > > > im going to use my other computer for everything else,im not fighting this > > crap..uncle bill needs to recall all of these os,s and go back to the drawing > > board hire some people that know what they are doing for once.. > > > > if i was him..i would be ashamed to rip the people off.by selling them a > > defective..worthless..pull your hair out product.like vista..do you see all > > of these post about your defective product..maybe all of those bilions have > > clouded his mind..

Re: vista is defective I am in agreement with this policy Why > should they spend money to write new drivers for every printer they > made, when those printers will never again increase their profits. I don't think this is a wise policy at all. Having been forced to replace two perfectly good HP printers because they had no Vista drivers, I decided not to buy HP again. I bought a new Canon printer, because they make their products backwards compatible.

| Re: vista is defective No, it isn't what you say. It is continued support for the operating system that you bought it for. It stated which OS's were supported. Those that don't work with Vista, did not have Vista listed. I was aware of this when I bought Vista, and I accepted that. I have been running Vista on an HP system since May '07, and have not had one crash. Almost no problems at all. On the other hand, let's talk about why I upgraded to Vista. It was because I was fed up with the instability issues I was experiencing in XP! It took almost a year to get SP2 installed and the machine was never the same after that. Nothing but problems with almost all my applications. Constant crashes. Bottom line here is that an awful lot of the problems I have experienced in the past were of my own making, my lack of knowledge. That is why I lurk here, to learn! I have learned a ton from the MVP's and others who come here to help. I've learned nothing from the crybabies who want someone to pay for their mistakes. -- Dave T. | Re: vista is defective Maybe I percieve things a bit differently, and perhaps incorrectly, but I've been involved with using windows and other operating systems for the last 20 or so years. The main problem most of the "experts" seem to be encountering comes not from any fault of the operating system (usually) but from everyones attempts to "fix" somthing. It's always best to try READING directions, not ASSUMING that your knowledge surpasses everyone elses, not trying to take "shortcuts" before you have a true understanding, and etc... Another thing is that it would be best to understand that Mr. Gates is probably not a totally allturistic person; he's like everyone else, he put togeather a corporation to make MONEY. So, if his corporation thinks it's best, for their corporation, to try to expand and make money then he, and they, are exactly like everyone else. They're HUMAN. Might it be best, and much more fufilling to try to understand, and LEARN from the ideas which we have bought the rights to use from him?
