I have been trying to boot the system but when it gets to log in (user
password) interface, it will only bring black interface and start complaining
that "the windows vista home premium product key you typed is invalid for
activation". and this is the password I have been using since.
pls help me out. 'cos am fed-up

You will find the correct product key on the inside of the box your Vista
installation DVD came in, alternatively on a sticker on your computer if you
have an OEM version of Vista.

A product key is not the same thing as a password, and entering it as a
password will not activate your Vista copy. Log on using your user account
password. You can enter the product key in Control Panel > System and
Maintenance > System > Activation.
