Purchasing Ultimate retail

hello i am running vista home premium 64 bit OEM, i am purchasing ultimate
retail and want to install 64 bit. My question is i wanted run vista advisory
to see if i can run the Ultimate version but the advisory won't run in vista
home 64 bit. Is there another way i can check before i install the ultimate
version

Yes, you can check with all of the manufacturers of your hardware. The
vista upgrade advisor is not reliable because it is little more than a
marketing tool for MS to try to encourage people to move to vista.
