Html from Paypal

I have a chunk of code from Paypal that I want to insert in a Homestead
webbuilder site. I don't have any idea how to convert it to an image that
Homestead will accept. Because I have Vista (don't get me started)...I can't
download their sitebuilder upgrade to accept the code the normal way.
Believe me, I've tried, but the Jave Virtual Machine is messing things
up...even though a test at their site says it's fine. I'm at my wit's end!

Kat (Please advise if I'm in the wrong group here.)

Erm, you have got a chunk of code from the Paypal website? What are you
trying to do? Make some sort of phishing website, getting people to give
you their credit card details?? LOL!

Seriously, from looking at the Homestead website, it seems that this is a
service that has easy to use templates to make websites. You are unlikely
to have a lot of control with such services, and the code you use can be
restricted in certain ways. I suggest you call the phone number at the top
right corner of their website and tell them what you want to do. I can't
see any links to any user forums.

As they seem to be a site that deal with e-commerce websites, they should
have some Paypal code of their own.

RE: Html from Paypal

Thanks for the suggestion. I contacted Homestead prior to your advice and
they advised me that they have a Paypal setup, however, as I'm a Vista user I
have been unable to successfully download their upgraded Sitebuilder which
would enable me to use it. I've been back and forth with them all day and
nothing is working. I did delete the code I had - I was trying somehow to
drop it in the "Sitebuilder Lite" program without success. I'm a writer, not
a computer whiz. I'll be back on the phone with them tomorrow since their
business hours are over for the day.

Any advice on how to rectify downloaded something that requires Microsoft
Java Machine would be extremely helpful.

Oh, that may be where you are going wrong. The Microsoft Java VM was
discontinued years ago, well before Vista came out. You need to install
Sun's JVM instead.
