If it's labeled "Academic Use" then the only proper use is if you are a
full-time or part-time student at an accredited learning institution.
That's almost certainly why it was sold so cheaply and online only.

However in the UK the teacher and student edition is available to home users
and covers three machines too.

But we're NOT talking about the Student and Teacher edition. We're talking
about an academic license copy - to be sold only by educational
organizations to students.

I borrowed the neighbor kids school ID and purchased an academic copy. All
I had to do was fax it in and BINGO. 75% off. Great deal.
