connection conflict

Hi, I have a problem with conflicting networks. My ISP and another public
broadband one. The public one opens and then I can't access internet. I
disconnect it and then it's OK but only for a short while the it connects
again. This is only in the last week so think it might have been an update,
but which one? I have contacted microsoft and am waiting for a hotfix but
thought I'd ask here as I have had help before.
Thanks

Re: connection conflict

When you're at the "Connect to a network" window, right-click on the public
network, select properties, click the "Connection" tab, and uncheck the box
that says "Connect automatically when this network is in range."
