| System restore task running but.... Hi Might be missing something really obvious here & I'm not the most technical of bods so please be kind with your responses ;) When I go to run a System restore my restore point options are limited to the ones that are visible are the ones that appear are those that occur when there's a Window Update or I've installed something. The ones that take place daily via my Scheduled Tasks are not visible. Should they be? I want them to be! I've checked my Scheduled Tasks & the SR does take place at the designated time. Any ideas or am I expecting something that can't happen - nothing new there them ;) Yvonne |

Try again. The Restore Points that are visible are those that were created by the system prior to a Windows Update or if I've installed something. Were are the daily ones? Thanks in advance Yvonne |

Second, are you running any system cleanup utilities or do you have some application that has such a function that runs periodically as it might be deleting restore points? Usually, the scheduled SR would show in System Restore as "System Scheduled Checkpoint." -- Michael Solomon Backup is a PC user's best friend DTS-L.Org: http://www.dts-l.org/ |
