November 2007 Vista Sidebar Calendar Error

I noticed on my Windows Sidebar calendar that November 2007 has the 3rd
twice, both on a Saturday and Sunday.

This is for real! How is this possible???

Anyone else see this or is it just my machine??

I don't see it.
Try removing and then adding the calendar Gadget.

Re: November 2007 Vista Sidebar Calendar Error

I removed the calendar, re-booted, added the calendar, and . . . it still
has the 3rd twice in November 2007.

Any suggestions?

What is going on??

The problem seems to appear when you have the timezone set to "Brasilia":

- when I set my machine to GMT -3:00 "Montevideo", the Sidebar calender
worked fine.

- when I set my machine to GMT -3:00 "Brasilia", Sidebar calender shows two
"3 November", Saturday and Sunday.

Windows Calender (under Start menu, Accessories) doesn't show this problem;
only the Sidebar gadget. So I'd guess it is a bug in the gadget. I don't
know why they don't like Brasilia (well, I'm told Sao Paolo is a nicer city
:-). There are alternative calendar gadgets; right-click on Sidebar, then
choose "Add Gadgets". Maybe another calendar gadget will work properly. Or
set your time zone to a different GMT -3:00 region (but may have different
daylight savings)
