Removing Windows Vista

I have Windows Vista, and I want to remove it and replace it with Windows XP.
I have a copy of XP to load after I remove Vista. How do I format my hard
drive to remove Vista. Step by step instruction would help alot.

RE: Removing Windows Vista

1 Go into your computer Bios, and set 1st boot to CD-ROM, and have your XP
disk in CD Drive.
2 After reboot, follow instructions.
3 make sure that you delete the partition that is already there; the
instructions on what to click are on the XP disk.
4 once you have a 100% raw partition, format it; follow instructions.
5 install XP

just make sure that you read everything, and understand it before you press
ENTER , D, L at each stage

You don't. Formatting the drive is done as part of the Windows XP
installation. Just boot from the Windows XP CD (change the BIOS boot
order if necessary to accomplish this) and follow the prompts for a
clean installation (delete the existing partition by pressing "D" when
prompted, then create a new one).

You can find detailed instructions here:
