| Backup for Windows Live Messenger When I had Windows XP, I can save the backups of Winks, Emoticons, Backgrounds and Display Pictures by typing this in search of Windows Explorer: %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger I was using Windows Live Messenger 8.1 with Windows XP, BUT now I am using Windows Live Messenger 8.5 with Windows Vista. How can I save backups of Winks, Emoticons, Backgrounds and Display Pictures? I tried to use the same way as before (Above) but it does not work. |

In your start menu search box, type cmd. In the CLI window, type: cd\ dir objectstore /s This will produce the path(s) to any ObjectStore folder(s) on your drive. Charlie42 |
