Re: Windows Live Messenger & Vista Beta 2 - Error 81000306

I have been having the same problem for weeks, can't sign into msn live
and error 81000306, tried absolutely everything that has been
suggested. Finally i came across this fix in one of the other forums on
this site (Vista RTM + Windows LIve Messenger error 81000306) and it
worked for me, so here it is, hope it helps someone else out, i have
cut and pasted this, so thanks to the original author of this.

Try this:
- Click start
- Type: cmd
- Right-click cmd.exe when it appears under Applications
- Click Run As Administrator
- Type the following: netsh int tcp set global
autotuninglevel=disabled
- Press enter
- Restart your computer

To check autotuning is disabled repeat the above but type: netsh int
tcp
show global.

I also have it installed on my laptop with vista and it has worked fine
just my desktop had the problem, has been very frustrating, but now
fixed.
