Customizing photo size in slideshow screen saver

Is there a way to customize the Vista slide show screen saver, to make it act
more like the old one in XP? Specifically, I would like the option to turn
off having them all at full-screen size, as many of them become quite blurry
when blown up so big. In XP, you had a choice, and I really liked it that
way. Any help will be much appreciated!

Hi,

No, that is not configurable.

Re: Customizing photo size in slideshow screen saver

I realize this is an old thread, but I found it during a search on this
topic. If it is impossible to configure Vista to display slide show
pictures at their original sizes that is a defect in the program. For
instance, pictures that are 700 x 500 look terrible on my 1600 x 1200
screen, and basically renders that feature of Vista unusable. That is
not the case with the Preview feature, which displays pictures at their
original resolution.

Perhaps Microsoft ought to address this deficiency.
