| net start command-- all the time Whenever I reboot my Vista box at first Aero is not present any longer- I have to go to a command prompt and do a "net start uxsms" command to get it back- this is every boot-- any suggestions what might be going wrong?.. or a permanent fix? |

Go to Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services. Find "Desktop Windows Manager Session Manager" in the list of services and make sure its startup type is set to Automatic. If it isn't, double click the entry and change the startup type to Automatic. -- Tom Porterfield |
