| Re: Windows 2008 Server Beta server beta is faster than vista because it lacks much of the crap and bloat vista has. You can remove all that from vista with a tool called vlite. By using vlite you obtain the same speed with vista as you would with server 2008. Both however are far slower than XP that is the best OS microsoft has ever made. | Re: Windows 2008 Server Beta As has been reported previously, Windows Server 2008 (beta 2 and beta 3) is exceptionally stable and is a pleasure to use for server, desktop or a combination of these operations. This is a great operating system. We have yet to have a single operating system crash dating from April 2008. |
