Vista Home Premium Backup function.

Is there a way to set the backup program to do a full system backup in Home
Premium ? Or will I need to get a third party backup program ?

I just spent a full day restoring my system due to an HD failure, Took 2 min
to restore the auto backup of my personal folders, lot of good that does.

According to MS full backup is only avalable in Ultimate and Business
versions.

Thanks for any help on this...

It's rubbish anyway. Just get Acronis TrueImage 10 Home.

Re: Vista Home Premium Backup function.

Hi,

You'll need a third party program to do a full image backup with Home
Premium. What you read is correct in that the ability to do so with the
native program is only available in Business and Ultimate. Home Premium and
Basic only have the file backup utility.
