| Windows IE & System Sounds OK A FAIRLY NEW VISTA iNSTALL AND EVERYTHING CHESCK OUT OK But I have a very wierd sound issue... First of all I have used every driver currently available and it doesn't change anything... All updates are done Vista 32 Bit Ultimate Not 100% sure of when the problem started (Been busy moving pictures and files around) I DO get sounds in Movies, Messenger Live, Games, and Music I DON'T get sounds in windows destop (Starup, shutdown, Minimize, etc.), office, internet explorer (You tube for example) System Sounds are eneabled and everything checks out hardware wise.... ANY Ideas?? |

| RE: Windows IE & System Sounds The only thing that ended up fixing it for me was to reinstall from scratch. Everythings been working fine since and I think what killed it for me initially was a failed codec installation.
