beep on click

every time i click on an item on the desktop in a folder or in some programs
my computer makes the eror beep sound (like when u hold keys on startup) it
just started doing it all of a sudden is there a way to fix this because
error beeps play out loud you cand make them go through a headset so its
noisy please reply asap thanks

Go to the Control panel and select Sound and then the sounds tab. Go down to
"select" and see what sound is set to play (in the bottom pulldown menu). You
can select none from here.

Try with a different mouse. Does the sound still happen? If not, replace
your mouse.

i fixed it myself i had sound disabled when i reinabled it it stoped beeping
thanks for your help anyway(i forgot to put that id fixed it sorry about that)
