hi anbody know were i can download a free video converter that is compatible

hi KDE,thanks for posting back downloaded super but could you give me a few
tips on converting a downloaded xvid file into a dvd that will play on my
normal dvd player i have tried without success i have also tried to go into
the super forums but cannot seem be able to post a question after login any
help gratefully recieved

To burn a DVD, you will need a DVD authoring program, not just a video
converter. if your PC has a DVD burner, then it most likely came with such
a program. look for Nero Vision, or Sonic MyDVD, or Roxio on your PC. if
not you will need to purchase such a program. Also, depending on the
version of Vista you have, Windows movie maker (free with windows) may
include a DVD creator.

Freeware is enough, you can get VideoMax Free Video Converter at http://www.free-star.org/free-video-converter.html.
