Doesn't your firewall have logs? If it doesn't there are some good ones
based on FreeBSD that are free.
If they are too difficult for you then you can ask for help in the user
forums.. do it before you block everything though.

My system runs 24/7 and no I don't monitor every connection it makes. If I
did, there'd hardly be time to do anything else in my life. Do you? I run
an operating system that doesn't phone home other than to look for upgrades
from the Ubuntu main repo. And I want it to do that or I'd tell it not to.
I certainly could NOT live with running an operating system that needed to
phone home in order to give me permission to run the bloody thing.
