It's been close to a hundred over the last few days, I'm sure the poop dumps have fermented well. ;-) One lab, one lab-boxer mix, and one german shepherd can lay a few bombs. :-) They're inside dogs so they've been spared the heat. Actually, it's been the hottest and driest month ever here in Charlotte. 11 or 12 100+ degree days, and we tied our all-time high of 104, *twice*, on back to back days. I think we've also set about 8 or 9 high lows overnight. Been hot, my friend. And less than a half inch of rain. Funny thing, June and July were below normal, with a few record breaking lows during June. Payback is a b!tch. Take care, Michael |

You had to shake the little bottle, hope it wasn't all dried up or clumped, hope you could get the cap off, then carefully dab it on the typo, wait and wait for it to dry, blow on it, wait some more, then try to type over it and wish you would have waited longer. Worse, if you didn't wait long enough and made a photocopy on the clunky copy machines of the era the heat may melt the correction fluid if it was fully dried and get it on the screen of the copy machine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Correction_fluid Then before than there was the correction cartridges you had to put in typewriters and fix typos that way. They used jammed. |
