Has there been any update to the problem where it says dreamscene has
encountered an error and then gives a black screen. I am running Ultimate
and the aero theme as well as having a supported video card. This has been
going on so long and it was touted as a cool extra. The dreamscene worked
UNTIL a series of updates were posted

The updates probably messed up your video driver. Go to the manufacturers
website and download the latest.
