| Wrong used space on HDD Hi, I am running Vista Home on my Dell laptop. I have 16GB of data on it, but the OS shows the used space as 50GB. I have accounted for all hidden files. The disc is 80GB. Tried CHKDSK and Defrag. Non works. | Re: Wrong used space on HDD Hello, I got the same problem and realized, that cause is the System Restore, which is not limited.
