| Re: AVG turned off? If the Windows Security Center is complaining about finding no anti-virus protection at all, then maybe it just doesn't recognize AVG and you need to tell it to not monitor anti-virus protection. backudog wrote: > hi! > i have AVG 7.5 professional edition installed on ny comp, im running vista > home premium and lately every time i start my pc i get a security alert > informing me that avg is turned off , yet according to every thing else it > appears to be on. it seems to update itself ok too. why is it doing this, > anyone know? |

| Re: AVG turned off? Then I agree with the other posters' replies: uninstall AVG, reboot, then reinstall AVG. backudog wrote: > it knows its there but windows security centre wotsit says, and i quote, "AVG > 7.5.484 reports that it is turned off" i click turn it on now button and it > updates avg but still says its off. |
