Can't seem to find where it is as a program to put it back there Any ideas? The sounds are working though Frenchy |

| Re: New Realtek HD Audio Drivers (ver. 1.73) Nope, I looked there first, but it has disappeared from there. In the location for the unzipped files from the 1.73 download, you can see the file RtHDVCpl.exe in the Vista Folder within that group, but it does nothing and doesn't seem to have been installed anywhere in a search. I liked that Control Panel, an excellent way to check and alter the speakers Frenchy "Cal Bear '66" <xxx@xxx.org> wrote in message news:%23ra1M943HHA.1184@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > Control Panel (Classic view) > Realtek HD Audio Manager? > > -- > I Bleed Blue and Gold > GO BEARS! > > > "Frenchy" <Invalid@invalid.com> wrote in message > news:f9voor$c6k$2@aioe.org... >> >> "Cal Bear '66" <xxx@xxx.org> wrote in message >> news:uIvL0F13HHA.2752@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... >>> New Realtek HD Audio Drivers (ver. 1.73) >>> >>> >>> http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#High%20Definition%20Audio%20Codecs >>> >>> -- >>> I Bleed Blue and Gold >>> GO BEARS! >>> >> >> Thanks for that update, BUT I have lost my Realtek control panel that >> used >> to sit in the RH Tray. Installed it for the third time and all went well and I have my control panel back. Only thing I did different was to empty out the TEMP folder, in case anything was jammed in there as a partial install. Thanks your help, hope it helps others Frenchy > |
