Re: Visual Studio

Hi, how do I get into Visual Studio? I have the OS Vista in English, but my
office 2000 is in Swedish & I need to change it to English so that I can get
better support?

Also, when I bought Vista I had 90 days of free support, but I broke my foot
& had to fly to Sweden to get that fixed so I missed my 90 day support. Is
there anyway I could get those 90 days after? I can scan my airline tickets
etc. to prove it...

Re: Visual Studio

Hi,

Visual Studio is a separate program that you would have to download and
install. To change language versions of Office requires the purchase of and
installation of the preferred language. You can't simply make a change in an
existing install of another language.

As to the support window, I don't know if it can be extended. If your copy
of Vista was preinstalled and came with the system, you need to check with
the manufacturer. For a retail packaged product, you need to contact the
local Microsoft support office:

Just a short comment, when I opened my Vista HP, here in the Netherlands, it
was in English and I was told I could change the language if I wished, which
I did, I now have a Dutch Vista. As you correctly say, after that I can't
change it again. But it may be a tip for new non English speakers.

Re: Visual Studio

Sure you can get another 90 days. Purchase a new copy! (Just kidding)

Some products have 90 days of support from the time you make the first call
to tech support. You might want to check this.
