| Is there a program to use remote desktop, or remote assistance "host" on Vista Home? I want to be able to use remote assistance, or remote desktop, in order to diagnose problems for my clients. I am a small community computer builder, and software designer, and most of the time, a problem is easier solved by remote desktop. I, however, can't find a cheap, NON - CORPORATE host system to provide this assistance. Could anyone provide me with some information? I need to at least be able to do screen sharing, in order to walk people through problems, but mouse and keyboard controll would help ALOT!!! Thanks in advance. |

| Re: Is there a program to use remote desktop, or remote assistance "host" on Vista Home? It's already built into to XP and into Vista (any version) - Remote Assistance. All they have to do is send you the invitation to help, and you will be able to control their machine remotely. This is only free for personal use, but it is VERY easy for the end-user to get the service running on their machine so that you can connect to it. The server module does not even need to be installed and can be customised with your company logo. http://www.teamviewer.com/index.aspx ss. |
