RE: Windows dvd maker is UPSIDE DOWN

I have the same issue, and have not been able to find anything on Microsoft's
website to explain nor remedy it.

It happens with all videos in DVD Maker, but they all play correctly in
Media Player. Seems to be an issue with DVD Maker itself.

RE: Windows dvd maker is UPSIDE DOWN

I had the same thing. Here's a way to do it.

1) go to Windows Movie Maker
2) under Imported media, import the video you want to burn to dvd
3) make sure that it is showing Timeline, not Storyboard at the bottom of
the screen. This can be switched under the View menu tab
4) drag the video into the timeline
5) right click on the video
6) pick effects
7) scroll down to 'Rotate 180' if the video is also backwards, click on
'Mirror, Vertical' as well
8) preview to make sure it works - save
9) close down WMM and open Windows DVD Maker - proceed as normal

Oops. #7 should say 'Mirror, Horizontal' not 'Mirror, Vertical'

RE: Windows dvd maker is UPSIDE DOWN

My problem is similar but not IDENTICAL.
Movies appear UPSIDE DOWN in the Preview Window, but burn the RIGHT WAY UP.
When I saw the Upside Down Preview, I rotated the clips so that they looked
right, but then found the DVD I burned had its Still Frames the right way up,
but its Video Clips UPSIDE DOWN !
