I have seen a number of posts from people on this topic. Can anyone explain
how this can be done. I just want to sync my contats from my WM 2002 phone to
Vista?

You'll need to check with the manufacturer or their website to see if
there's an update for your phone for mobile 2003 as the SyncCenter won't
work with versions prior to 2003 and the ActiveSync program is not
compatible with and cannot be installed in Vista.

Unfortunately it can't be done. You must have Windows Mobile 2003, Windows
Mobile 5 or 6 to sync from Vista to your mobile device.
