| MS Office Compatibility issues with Vista Scenario: I have a folder on the desktop that contains numerous Word files. When I open the folder and try and open any of the Word files I get the following error messages, in the following order. No other applications are open at the time. First message: "MS Office is trying to recover your information. Windows is checking for a solution to this problem" Second message: "MS Office is trying to recover you information. This may take several minutes". Third and final message: MS Office Word has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you of a solution" - which never does take place... Has anyone else had experience with this issues, thoughts on what may be potentially causing the problem, remedies etc. Thanks in advance. |

| Re: MS Office Compatibility issues with Vista Sure that looks familiar. The all new breed of error messages we never saw before Vista was launched.
