| XP or Vista, choose on startup...how? have a computer with Vista as it's primary, but would rather have XP as it runs faster (I believe) and I am more familiar with it, but I don't want to get rid of Vista...is there a way for me to have a "choose operating system" option pop up each time I turn on the computer? Vista and XP use different startup files and I didn't know how to properly edit Vista's startup as it wasn't user friendly like XP's was...anyway to get it to work? |

It's called "dual booting," and you'll see lots of references to that in this newsgroup. Please clarify: Do you now have both XP and Vista already installed on your computer? If so, how did you get there? Did you install Vista on top of an XP installation? |
