I have Vista Home Basic; Office 2003 & use Outlook as email.

When I click on a link in my email all I get is a quick open and close of
IE. Then when I try to open IE using the Icon I again only get the quick open
and close. If I right click the IE Icon and click on Admin. I can open IE
that time only. I have used tools/internet options/advanced/reset and it will
work until the next time I click on an email link. It seemed to start after a
Windoes/office update (20 of them).

Mre recently I have unchecked the Protection Mode in IE and it has worked
for the most part. however, Outlook froze after I closed an attachment. I
think there is a problem between Outlook 2003 and IE.
