| Vista desktop problem I am using Vista Home Premium (Turkish version). Whenever I drag and drop a file from another drive to my desktop, it is not being placed where I dropped it but it is being placed on the top row of the screen, displacing the original icon at that place. If I drag and drop something from the C: drive (i.e. if I move a file) there is no problem. There was a similar behaviour in XP. When you drag and drop a file from a non-writeable medium (like a CD) it usually was being placed on the first available spot on the desktop and not on the spot where you dropped it. This behaviour was tolerable but the Vista behaviour corrupts my desktop every time I copy a file to my desktop. Any advice? Thanks. Sumer Yamaner |
