Not surprised in the least that there was no response...

Similar generic "launched too many instances" (user) bugs have been
protected against, so maybe this should be too.

For example, if you select a thousand files and press Enter, some OSs
(or perhaps, the apps that act via file association) will pop up an
"Are you sure/crazy?" confirmation dialog.

However, it's really hard to accidentally hold down Flag+E for 30
seconds, compared to (say) reaching across the keyboard so that your
arm rests on the keypad's Enter key.

This reply is so late, no one will probably ever read it... but I just tried
this on an Ubuntu seat... opened a window to my home folder and then held
down Ctrl-N for 30 seconds and ended up with this error dlg: "Lang - file
browser is not responding - you may choose to wait a short while for it to
continue or force the application to quit entirely."

So... as I surmized before... I don't think the claim that "two keystrokes
bring Vista down" is valid as a Vista only issue. It's valid for other OS's
too. Whoa... big surprise! (Uh, not?)

Folks! Don't lean on the WinKey and E... (or if you're using Ubuntu... the
Ctrl key and "N"). Duuuuuuuhhhhhh... okay?
