Stretched-out text?

I'm not sure if this is a Vista thing or not, but when I started my laptop
this afternoon (after being in "sleep" mode for a couple of hours), all the
text appears stretched out, as if someone took the sides of the window and
pulled. It's universal--the text in my documents, the toolbar text, the text
and pictures in Explorer...Any ideas?

RE: Stretched-out text?

R/Click anywhere on desktop > select "Personalize' > Display Setting >
Move the Resolution slide to 'High' and in the Colours Box > select 'Highest
32bit"
Should fix it.

RE: Stretched-out text?

Unfortunately you may have the use 'System Restore" to go back to a restore
point prior to when the problem started.

New computer, TAKE IT BACK TO WHERE YOU BOUGHT IT it, as you say "has always
been this way"
You may do something that will void your warranty
