Even if they don't do anything these products have a market and that's why they exist. |

I have a problem when I use it though that it empties my recent programs list on the start menu and after that it doesn't work anymore. I have to apply a fix to get programs to show up on there again. I must have something selected that I shouldn't. But that's no big deal, I only run the program every 6 - 12 months. |

| Re: Best Registry Cleaner for vista Hello tech guys! Many people have recommend me to use registry tool, mostly speed up my Windows Vista performance which have really slow down lately. I've been checking many sites, and most of them recommend Registry Easy to go with. What do you guys say? I would only like to boost my Windows speed. Here is review I've read: http://fixexe.com/best-5-registry-fix-and-repair-tools/ Thank you! -- Vivid ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Vivid's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/145020.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-help/779201.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

There are reasons. For one thing, it's not needed. For another, many programs are not that accurate in their choices. -- Gene E. Bloch letters0x40blochg0x2Ecom |

They will nOT speed up your system and they have a greater chance of messing up your computer so it will not work. |

| Re: Best Registry Cleaner for vista The best registry cleaner for Vista is "None", as Gene correctly states below and for the average user that is. Tech guys will not look for advice on this subject here. Therefore we can drop it completely. Hopefully this will clear things up once and for all. Harry. "Gene E.
