Photoshop CS3

Have CS2 on my computer with vista platform, bought an upgrade but could not
install it. Have tried all techno advice form adobe as well as
user/administrator issues. Keeps giving message: One component installed, two
not installed. Anyone having any advice

Hello Jaco...

Uninstall everything and start from scratch, make sure you are
installing from a cd or dvd, because photoshop for some strange reason
does not like being installed from the hard disk or flashdrive

Be sure to clean out the leftover installer and be sure UAC is turned on.
We use CS3 daily with no problems.

Photoshop CS3

Try to remove every last trace of CS2 first.
On installing CS3 it should ask for the serial number of the previous
version you are upgrading from (proof that you have removed CS2 since it
can't find it !)
I installed CS3 (upgrade) on vista ultimate 64 bit without a problem.
What I do find though is that the Adobe auto updater fails with memory
errors so I suppose manual updates are going to be necessary (if I want
them)
