| Screensaver-Windows Vista. My screensaver does not work if i use a optical wireless mouse. I have tried two of them and neither one works. I have updated the drivers and downloaded the patch. Still nothing. I can find no other support from Microsoft. Any ideas? Thanks. |

| Re: Screensaver-Windows Vista. I don't remember if the newest drivers are supposed to fix the problem, but that is/was a well know problem. I do believe that it has been fixed though. You didn't mention exactly what brand/model, but I assume you mean a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse... | Re: Screensaver-Windows Vista. I tried brink's suggestion but it didn't work. I did the following which worked (but will only work if you had previously installed the "HID Non-User Input Data Filter": If this filter wasn't installed yet then skip to step 5. 1. Open Device Manager. 2. Under Human Interface Devices category , right click and uninstall the "HID Non-User Input Data Filter". You should only have the "USB Human Interface Device" listed. 3. Right click on the category of Human Interface Devices and click Scan for Hardware Changes. 4. A second option will pop up. 5. Update the driver for the non-USB option and it will reinstall the "HID Non-User Input Data Filter".
